About School (SSKV)
The High School was the natural offshoot of the Elementary School. Headed by Smt.Yasodha Bai and personally guided by Dr.P.R.Raghuraman, the then Secretary of the Somasundara Kanya Vidyalaya as it had come to be known by then, blossomed into a reputed Educational Institution closely identified with Indian cultural ethos.
The School now symbolised an integrated value-based education centre uniting the traditional, artistic and aesthetic aspects of modern learning.
Thanks to the fund of good faith it has built up and its high educational performance as evidenced by consistent good results in the public examination, the School further blossomed into a Higher Secondary Institution in 1978.
The School achieved 100% result in the Plus-2 public examination in the year 2013. This has become possible due to the special training to teachers, their efforts, special attention to the quality of education imparted to the students along with maintaining the century old ethics of our institution.
